Dear Readers,

I think most of us will agree that this winter has been more than we bargained for with all of its cold and ice and snow. That makes the coming of spring especially welcome this year.

I hope you noticed the beautiful underwater photography on this issue's cover that we used to enhance the exquisite artwork of Venetian glass master, Vittorio Costantini, as well as on the gallery pages. The photos was taken by Keith Bryan, an artist who has some tips to share for taking underwater shots of glass art, so be looking for that in one of our upcoming issues.

We would love to have the opportunity to share your art with our readers through one of our galleries, a general interest article, or a tutorial. Upcoming themes include marbles and paperweights for summer, collaborative art for fall, and our ever-popular women's issue for winter. Submissions can be sent viaThis email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it., our website, or our Facebook page. We look forward to sharing what the talented members of our flameworking community have been doing.

As always . . . Keep your light shining and your torches lit!
