Price: $500   Instructor: John Kobuki   Skill Level: Intermediate This class will explore the "Compression” technique used to make flowers and other deeply encased designs, utilizing solid rods of borosilicate, into marbles and pendants. Students will learn color overlays and "tooling" tricks for more interesting layered petal and leaf designs. There will be a strong emphasis on heat and flame management and why Compression is the dynamic force in this technique. Intermediate to advance students recommended.
