Takoda Madrona uses the inspiration of the ideas behind “ship in a bottle” designs to create a functional glass tube. Blue and white frit are used to replicate the look of breaking ocean waves. The 3-D surfer is sculpted onto the his board, which is created first, then placed inside the glass tube.
